At Kalyan Herbal, we strive to provide you with the highest quality natural remedies and a seamless shopping experience. Below you will find our comprehensive policies regarding delivery and order cancellations.
Part 1: Shipping & Delivery Policy
1. Processing Times
- All orders are processed within 1 to 2 business days (excluding weekends and South African public holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email.
- You will receive another notification with tracking details once your order has shipped.
2. Shipping Rates and Estimates
We offer nationwide delivery across South Africa via our trusted courier partners (e.g., The Courier Guy, ITT).

Cape Town: Flat rate of R120. Delivery typically takes 2 to 4 business days.

Rest of South Africa: Flat rate of R170. Delivery typically takes 3 to 5 business days.

Free Shipping: We offer free standard delivery for all local orders over R500.
3. Collection
If you are located nearby or prefer to collect your order yourself, we offer a free collection option from our warehouse.

Collection Times: Once your order is ready, we will send you an email confirmation with our warehouse address and available collection hours. Please do not attempt to collect your order until you have received this "Ready for Collection" notification.
4. Shipment Tracking
When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 24 hours for the tracking information to become active.
Part 2: Returns, Refunds, and Cancellations
1. The 7-Day Cooling-Off Period (ECTA Compliance)
In accordance with Section 44 of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act (ECTA), you are entitled to cancel your purchase and return your goods within 7 days of receipt for a full refund of the purchase price.

Condition of Goods: To qualify for a cooling-off refund, the products must be completely unopened, unused, in their original packaging, and with all hygiene and safety seals perfectly intact.
- Shipping Costs: For "change of mind" returns under the cooling-off period, the customer is responsible for the cost of returning the courier package to our facility.
2. Hygiene and Safety Exclusions
Because Kalyan Herbal supplies health, wellness, and ingestible products, we cannot accept returns or issue refunds for any product where the safety seal has been broken, broken open, or tampered with. This strict policy ensures the health and safety of all our customers.
3. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
We take great care in packing your orders, but if an item arrives damaged or incorrect, we will fix it immediately.

Reporting Window: Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us at
info@kalyanherbal.co.za within 48 hours of delivery.

Requirements: Please include your order number and clear photographs of the damaged item or packaging.

Resolution: If the product is verified as defective or damaged in transit, we will arrange for a courier to collect the item at our expense and issue a replacement or a full refund.
4. How to Initiate a Return
To start a return, you can contact us at info@kalyanherbal.co.za. If your return is accepted, we will send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
5. Refunds Processing
Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received it and whether your refund has been approved or rejected based on the seal inspection.
If approved, your refund will be automatically processed via your original payment method (e.g., PayFast, Yoco) within 7 to 10 business days. Please note that your bank or credit card company may take additional time to post the refund to your account.
