• Dry Between Uses: Always use a slotted soap dish that allows for 360° airflow. Natural soaps will soften if left in standing water.
• Stay Cool & Dark: Store your extra bars in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to preserve the delicate essential oils and natural colors.
• Breathe Easy: Avoid airtight plastic containers. Natural soap prefers to "breathe" to maintain its firmness and scent.
• Use Within 12 Months: Since these are free from synthetic preservatives, we recommend using them within one year for the best lather and aromatic experience.

While our soaps are crafted with 100% natural ingredients, botanical extracts are potent. To ensure the best experience for your skin, please note the following:

• Patch Test First: If you have sensitive skin or a history of allergies, we recommend performing a patch test on a small area (like the inside of your wrist) 24 hours before full use.
• Naturally Occurring Allergens: Our essential oils contain natural compounds that may be allergens for some individuals. These include:

1. Limonene & Citral: Found in all citrus-based bars (Orange, Lime, Naartjie, Bergamot, Lemongrass).
2. Linalool: Found in Lavender, Rosewood, Neroli, and Geranium.
3. Geraniol & Citronellol: Found in Geranium and Lemongrass.

• Pregnancy & Breastfeeding: Most of our soaps are formulated at safe, low-dilution levels for rinse-off use. However, the Neem & Lavender and Lemongrass & Buchu bars contain more potent botanicals. If pregnant or nursing, we recommend consulting your healthcare provider or choosing our Natural (Fragrance-Free) bar.
• Child Safety: For infants and toddlers under 2 years old, we recommend our Natural (Fragrance-Free) bar to protect their developing skin barrier.
• For External Use Only: Keep soap out of eyes and avoid contact with mucous membranes. If irritation occurs, discontinue use immediately and rinse with cool water.
